Heated Towel Rails

The heated towel rail might just be the best bit of kit to grace the bathroom since the sink plug! They work on so many levels: they’re beautifully designed and compact, they add a focal point and help keep the bathroom tidy – and that’s before we’ve even stopped to think about their primary function! Even then there’s more to the towel warmer than just warming towels. Pick the right size towel warmer for your bathroom and you’ll never have to worry about fitting a radiator or other source of bathroom heating.

Of course there’s nothing quite so depressing as having to leave the confines of the bath or shower, particularly if you’ve only got a tepid towel to get out to! How much nicer and how much more civilized to be able to wrap yourself up in your toasty warm towels! (It’s a small luxury we know, but an important one nonetheless!)

Whether you favour the chic chrome slatted design or traditional style heated towel rail (comprising mini radiator attachment), the towel rail is an inexpensive way to keep your towels and toes warm in the bathroom. Retailing more cheaply than you’d expect of a traditional bathroom radiator, the towel rail is designed to be energy efficient and quick to warm up – thereby saving us all even more money! Designs vary to encompass even more inexpensive alternatives in modern white as opposed to classic chrome, and are available in sizes to cater to the budgetary and heating requirements of the very biggest and smallest bathrooms.

You’ll also be pleased to know that all that heat isn’t at the expense of your safety. Families can happily install heated towel rails, secure in the knowledge that they’ve been tested to comply with British Standards regulations. So they’re sleek, they’re stylish and they’re safe – and they’re sure to keep your whole bathroom warm – winter or summer. Whilst most towel rails are made to be plumbed into your central heating system, users can still employ an optional dual fuel heating element to run the towel rail off the electricity supply whenever the central heating is switched off. That gives you compete access to 600watts or so of heat, whenever you need it.

Portable electric models are also available (for even more control over how and when you use them). In both cases the towel rails will already be warming your morning towel by the time you get up (whether it’s locked into the central heating system, or operated by an electric timer switch).

Heated towel rails fix simply to bathroom walls and all models are supplied with the required brackets and fixings for easy assembly.
