Whatever you do or don’t have in your bathroom, you have to have a bathroom mirror. You’d be lost without one.
Like so many of the products, appliances and accessories listed by our suppliers, the bathroom mirror isn’t just a one trick pony. Yes, it’s essential for brushing your teeth, shaving, exfoliating (and whatever else you do in your bathroom) but it’s also an important design feature. A beautiful bathroom mirror will act as a focal point in its own right. And, as we all know, a strategically placed mirror gives the illusion of light and space. Simply hanging your bathroom mirror in a well chosen spot, will give the impression of a much roomier room. (Even if there isn’t quite space for that ‘his and hers’ sunken bath!)
All that being said, how do you choose what sort of mirror would work best in your bathroom? As a first port of call, we’d advise a through inventory of our suppliers’ stocks. They’ve got more mirrors, in more shapes and in more distinctive designs than you’d be likely to find anywhere else!
It’s all a question of finding the mirror that complements and enhances your bathroom: that might be a straightforward square or rectangular mirror (pretty unremarkable, you might think, but for the fact that there are square bathroom mirrors and rectangular bathroom mirrors in dozens of permutations). Will it be free standing or mounted? Frosted or plain? Round edged or straight edged? And then there’s the question of illumination…
Illuminated bathroom mirrors are ideal for those of us who don’t see too well in the mornings; perfect for the meticulous application of make-up - and for that all star treatment. (In which case you’ll almost certainly fall for one of our Hollywood style light framed mirrors (LED lights for reliability and safety). Alternatively you might favour back lit mirrors or even a touch activated mood light mirror. Or how about a cool coloured glass mirror? See yourself in your very best light with our supplier’s selections.
Naturally we’ve got larger mirrors for larger bathrooms (and equally for ‘opening out’ smaller bathrooms). And then there are all the irregularly shaped mirrors. The quadrilateral may be classic, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take a more distinctive approach.
From bean shaped bathroom mirrors through half mirrors to kidney stone mirrors, we’ve got distinctive! Shop around and take your pick of the shiniest examples of contemporary design chic and way out design! Somewhere in between the squares and the shiny beans, there are grand ovals and porthole style circular mirrors; each one classically designed and worthy of any fine bathroom.
Whatever mirror you choose to adorn your bathroom, you can be assured that it’s superbly designed and made. Sans bulky surrounds and ill conceived decorative frames, (featuring instead subtle bevel edges and smooth lines), these are the sorts of mirrors that add a sense of quality to your bathroom. We wouldn’t advise you to look at yourself in anything less!
